CNPC has operated the Ai-Dan Munai oil project since 2005. It initially consisted of two legacy fields, Arisskoye and Blinovskoye, in the South Turgai basin in central Kazakhstan. The operator's extensive E&A activity resulted in multiple smaller oil discoveries. Most satellite fields have been developed and are onstream.
