The Halfdan Area is one of the largest oil developments in Denmark. It is located in the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC) Contiguous Area in the North Sea, 24-kilometres southeast of the Tyra hub. The main field was discovered in 1999 and was brought onstream in the same year with temporary production equipment.
