Umusadege is an onshore oil field in the northern Niger Delta. It is a marginal field, granted in 2003 to indigenous companies Midwestern Oil & Gas and Suntrust Oil. The field came onstream in 2008. A 40,000 b/d central processing facility handles production from Umusadege, as well as surrounding fields (Ebendo, Egbaoma and Umuseti - known as "the cluster group") with oil exported via Eni's Brass, and Shell's Forcados pipeline systems. In December 2023, the partners converted Umusadege to a Petroleum Mining Licence (PML 22) in line with the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) of 2021
