The field produces via three wells drilled from the Amberjack (MC 109) platform in the adjacent block.In January 2024, Talos Energy announced the acquisition of QuarterNorth Energy for US$1.29 billion. The operator acquired an additional 8.33% ownership and operatorship of Orion, bringing its total working interest to 16.67%.
