The Campo Indio and El Cerrito fields are located in the Southern flank of the Austral Basin, province of Santa Cruz. Together, the assets comprise the Campo Indio-El Cerrito (CI-EC) tight gas project, the flagship development of Compañía General de Combustibles (CGC).In 2017, the Santa Cruz province awarded CGC an unconventional concession for CI-EC.
